Internship - Feral Farm internships are based on a 46-acre farm in the Sauk River Valley of Washington. Our internships offer you a unique opportunity to work on the largest, off-grid, forest garden homestead in the USA ~ there’s nothing else like it! Internships run year-round and focus on wild, edible plants, local foods, and natural building. Interns must be dedicated, disciplined, and self-directed. To apply for the Internship, contact us.
Who we are looking for - Self-directed, motivated, agroforestry and permaculture enthusiasts with long-term vision. Preference given to applicants who are interested in working in a wild, off-grid, forest garden setting.
What you will be doing - Depending on the time of year and where we are in our process, tasks will range from basic clearing, weeding, and trail maintenance, to harvesting the seasons perennial edibles, construction of natural buildings, and general homesteading responsibilities.
Where you will be - The internship will take place in the beautiful Sauk River Valley bio-region of the Pacific Northwestern United States. Interns will have the opportunity to live and work on a local permaculture farm for the duration of the internship.

- Work 20 hours per week around the farm
- Help gather wild foods for restaurant sales
- Maintain the outdoor kitchen area daily
- Maintain your personal space
